The platform is open tickets.gov.gr and sports fans can find out how to add their ticket to Gov.gr. Wallet, how will they identify it, as from April 9, the return to the stands for both its matches Super League 1as well as the Greek Cup, will be done digitally with the ticket in Gov.gr Wallet.
As announced by the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou and the Deputy Minister of Sports Yiannis Vroutsis regarding the measures against fan violence, the new identification process will be carried out by the digital wallet, the Gov.gr wallet. However, a necessary condition is for those who have not “downloaded” it on their mobile phone to register at the National Communications Registry (EmEp), emep.gov.gr. As the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, has pointed out, “no matter how difficult it is to fight the so-called fan violence, we will continue the effort and fight to win this battle”.

Mr. Papastergiou is moving in the same direction, who has noted that “the triptych “new legislation, cameras, identification” guarantees the great change that is taking place in the field of Greek sports. As the Ministry of Digital Governance, we use all the available technological tools, in order for the identification to be done in the most modern and secure way. We take advantage of the possibilities provided by our digital wallet, the Gov.gr Wallet, so that we and our children can enter stadiums in a simple and friendly way”.
It is necessary to register with EmEp before Gov.gr Wallet
In order to use the Gov.gr Wallet application, citizens will need their personal access codes to Taxisnet and a certified mobile phone number, which is certified exclusively through the registration of data in the National Register of Communications (NMR).
Specifically, for adults, registration is first done in the National Contact Register, (on the platform they connect to the wallet via taxis, select the ticket and thus the ticket is entered in the wallet and then the QR Code or Barcode appears, with which the every fan in the stadium.
As for minors over the age of 15, who have TAXISnet personal codes-credentials and their mobile phone is registered at EmEp – emep.gov.gr, they will follow the same procedure as adults for entering the stadiums with the Gov.gr Wallet.
In the case of minors under the age of 15, their entry to the stadium will take place if their parent or guardian identifies the ticket and saves it in the application. In the event that the minor is accompanied by another adult, during the ticket identification process, whoever has guardianship or custody declares the TIN of the adult who will accompany the minor, provided that the adult companion has already identified and stored his own of the ticket in Gov.gr Wallet.
According to information at the beginning of the implementation of the new way of entering the stadiums and until the end of the current season, sports fans will be able to enter the stadiums both with their Gov.gr Wallet ticket, and with the way still applies today.
