Squeezie’s GP Explorer 2: Behind the Scenes at the Dijon-Prenois Circuit

In his latest video, Squeezie, the biggest YouTuber in France (over 18 million subscribers), looks back on the biggest project of his life: the GP Explorer 2. He looks more specifically at the preparation for the F4 race, whose training took place at the Dijon-Prenois circuit.

1.3 million spectators on the Twitch platform, 60,000 present in the stands of the Bugatti Le Mans circuit on D-Day: last September, the YouTuber Squeezie (follow our link) shattered all records with this F4 race, bringing together stars of the French-speaking Internet, as well as artists.

In his latest video, released this Sunday, the YouTuber with more than 18 million subscribersreturns to what he considers to be “ the biggest project of his life ». In a 46-minute documentary, he looks back with emotion on the preparations for this extraordinary race. He recounts his first training sessions on the Nogaro and Val-de-Vienne circuits… before highlighting the Dijon-Prenois circuit.

The Dijon-Prenois Circuit: “one of the most pleasant circuits in Europe”

For the last training session before the event, the race participants set down their bags in Burgundy to ride on the legendary Dijon-Prenois circuit.

During his video, the YouTuber is full of praise for this route which he considers to be “ one of the most pleasant circuits in Europe ».

It’s also one of the most difficult circuits to ride, he admits. “ There are very few sharp turns, there are a lot of curves that you take with full force. You really feel like you’re on the Mario Kart rainbow track.”. The young pilots also had to deal with unpredictable weather on the day they arrived last June.

“Of all the circuits, this is by far the best in terms of sensations” – Squeezie.

After the rain, came the good weather and the videographers were finally able to ride during a second training session. “ Of all the circuits, it is by far the best in terms of sensations. First of all, it is very small, there are only nine turns, but above all, there is almost never any heavy braking. I have the impression of being a TGV on this track, even more, of being Charles Leclerc or Pierre Gasly“. A great spotlight…
