Forspoken has been slated for a May 24, 2022 release, but the game will no longer be released on that date. Square Enix and Luminous Productions have announced via Twitter that the upcoming PlayStation 5 and PC-exclusive game has been delayed by 5 months. The new release is now on October 11, 2022.
The postponement does not come as a big surprise, since last week already rumors turned up. The reason for the delay is that they need more time to achieve the intended quality with the game. Below is the official announcement and full statement.
