As the municipality of Spreitenbach reports, an additional transformer station must be built in the area of the work yard. Elektrizitätsversorgung Spreitenbach is a company under public law within the meaning of the municipal law. It is under the supervision of the municipal council and is operated according to the principle of economic viability.
The Spreitenbach electricity supply has the task of supplying customers in the Spreitenbach municipal area solely and exclusively with electrical energy. In order to guarantee this supply order also in the future without self-inflicted interruptions in supply, the systems in the distribution network have to be renewed again and again.
Discussion of commitment credit for CHF 485,000
To strengthen the distribution network, an additional transformer station must therefore be built in the area of the work yard. A commitment loan of CHF 485,000 will be submitted to the residents’ community assembly on November 23, 2021 for approval.
