IDXChannel – Spotify flooded with reports and complaints from users iPhone, specifically iOS 14.8 and the latest iOS 15.0 update.
Most users complain that Spotify is draining battery and cause excessive heat in the phone.
In a support thread on its web, Spotify said it was aware of user complaints and had forwarded the report to its iOS technical team.
However, Spotify can’t say for sure when they can fix this excessive power consumption problem.
Spotify can only advise users to keep their iOS version updated when a newer one becomes available.
