We will like Apple Music but you need to recognize how well Spotify works. And it’s that the green giant of streaming music has been in this for a long time, and if we like anything, it doesn’t depend on an iOS update, as is the case with Apple Music to incorporate features, something quite interesting because it allows us to have news more regularly. Now they are being updated again to give us a more useful interface. The home screen is updated with podcast news, discoveries and viewing history. Keep reading that we tell you all the details of this new update.

That must be said the restructuring is being launched gradually, they do not need to update the program and we will see in our programs these days. As announced on the company’s blog, they want the new interface to allow us to find the sound we “love” in an easier and more intuitive way. The new changes we will find are:

  • Travel back in time: Rediscover lost gems in your listening history with a new “Recently Played” section, where users can go back in time and look through up to three months of playing history. High quality and free users around the world will be able to browse through newly played individual tracks and episodes, as well as the playlists, albums and shows from which they have been played.
  • Jump to new and unfinished podcasts– High quality users can watch new and relevant podcast episodes directly within the new home screen. New episodes will be marked with a blue dot, and episodes already started will show a progress bar that will indicate what we lack to finish the sound.
  • Discover more music– High quality users will not miss a single track of the artists they love. Now you will see a new widget within the application at the top of the home screen dedicated to discovery recommendations tailored to our tastes.

A remodel that will definitely make our passage through the Spotify app easier. So now you know, if you’re Spotify users, stay tuned, because in the coming days you’ll see these changes on your iOS app’s home screen. And you Do you prefer Spotify or Apple Music?
