Spotify is launching a feature that will allow fans to rank Kendrick Lamar’s best albums

Spotify now offers users the option to rank their five favorite Kendrick Lamar albums. This is a new integrated experience that will allow fans to show their love for the Pulitzer Prize-winning artist by sharing the list on social media.

Good news for Kendrick Lamar fans

The feature, officially introduced as “My Top 5: Kendrick Lamar Projects“, can be accessed via Kendrick Lamar’s artist page on the Spotify app. The options to choose from are: Overly Dedicated , Section.80, Good Kid, MAAD City, To Pimp a Butterfly , Untitled Unmastered , Damn et Morale & the Big Steppers.

Lamar’s new experience with Sweden’s digital music streaming platform comes weeks after the rapper teamed up with the platform to release a mini-documentary detailing his trip to Ghana earlier this year.

Lamar’s longtime producer, Sounwave, spoke about his favorite album of Lamar during an interview with Complex, revealing in particular to the magazine that his opinion changes from day to day. “For now I mean Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers “, he said earlier this month. “That changes though. One day it’s Section.80, the next day it’s Good Kid, mAd city. The next day is To Pimp a Butterfly. But just then it’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

Soundwave also confirmed that he and Lamar have already started working on a follow-up to Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, but did not provide any further details about the upcoming project. We let you discover the new Spotify feature launched in partnership with the rapper.
