Splinter Cell – A series hosted by Derek Kolstad (John Wick) is in the works – News

Video game adaptations have been on the rise in recent years and more particularly since the colossal success of The Witcher series available on Netflix. After the announcement of a wacky series bearing the image of My Friend Pedro, the film adaptation of the Uncharted saga, and the imminent arrival of a Mortal Kombat film, it’s Sam Fisher’s turn, the hero of the Splinter Cell franchise, put on his night vision glasses to find himself in front of the camera.

Once again, we find Netflix at the head of the project, since the American giant is teaming up with Ubisoft to adapt the iconic franchise born in 2002 to the small screen. Sam Fisher will therefore once again be in the spotlight thanks to the upcoming arrival of an animated series Splinter Cell on Netflix. A series which, according to Variety, would be split into two seasons, and would form a total of 16 episodes. Everything will be written and produced by Derek Kolstad, the author of the John Wick saga, who, as we recall, is also in charge of theadaptation Game My Friend Pedro.
