Spike from Sector 1

Am un prieten cu o limbă al dracului de piperată. Every time he catches me, he bites me mercilessly. He asks me:
– Me, do you remember who is the mayor of Sector 1?
Ask this question with a Jesuit and honeyed air, which announces the curse, the fist or the wand with which to continue the discussion. And what do I do? I answer politely and correctly.
– Clotilde Armand!
“And who voted for her?”
– I do not!
– But you wrote, huh? You didn’t say that… You put it around our necks, your mother of idiots and fools!

The explanation is simple. When Clotilda Armand, a candidate for the mayoral seat of Sector 1, appeared, I wrote in an article that I think she is an interesting, colorful character who contrasts with the Romanian political cloaca. Not out of snobbery or who knows what great admiration for the French official, I said he deserved two good words. It seemed to me that a lady with four children, with experience in management and consulting could be an interesting novelty. Not much information had been circulated about the Frenchwoman’s consulting business. The article about her later salary in Bulgaria had not reached my eyes. What’s more, it seemed picturesque to me, a bit peltic and with a slightly wrinkled Romanian language, I would have said that it brings a new air among the mayors of the sector. Maybe even a French experience in the field! Appreciation bun. Although I did not vote for her, I was terribly wrong. I was sorely mistaken. The smiling and ironic character in the election campaign began to behave odiously. Tough, absurd, aggressive, contemptuous, with a grin that hates her and with a behavior that scares me, Mrs. Clotilde Armand is the big spike taken by the voters of Sector 1.

Why did the USR propose it? It seems worse to me than the few favorable sentences I have written about her. Are all the progressives and all the Marxists in USR-PLUS the same? I’m afraid I’m not far from the truth this time. Most regret that they supported her, but do they pretend that they were not the main ones responsible for her choice?
The scandal of counting the votes in Sector 1 pushes us even more into the tunnel of unanswered questions.
Was it a rebel or secret service operation? For what purpose was an inflexible Frenchwoman supported in the elections?

Do the French victory in Sector 1 and the German one in Timisoara have a strategy behind them for other cities or for the whole of Romania? Nothing for the benefit of the citizens happens neither in Sector 1 nor in Timișoara. In Bucharest, Sector 1 – the gateway to the Capital – stinks hard around garbage mounds. A large part of the capital’s inhabitants are in danger. And in Timisoara, the city on which the vanities of Mayor Robu have left deep wounds, now has only one priority for Dominic Fritz. To take control of the winning Association with the Timișoara European Capital of Culture 2024 project.

How is it that the liberal-pluserist government fails punctually in both small and large localities. And it squeaks loudly and nationally. It seems to be the result of a mixture of substances that explode at a certain temperature of interest. Eating, crookedness, cons, denunciations, gossip, disagreements, left-handedness or hitting on the back have become a way of being. From all this, the code of conduct of the allied rights is constantly outlined.

I have a friend who charges me mercilessly for a few words written about Clotilde Armand. And that lady now scares me too and forces us all to recognize that the democratic process can sometimes bring catastrophic results. With a false vote or a clean vote, an odious winner can come out.
