Raffi Ahmad recently opened his beach club business in Padang, Marawa. However, a netizen who stopped by to eat there protested about the price of the menu which was considered too expensive.
Raffi Ahmad adds to his long list of businesses by opening a beach club in Padang, after successfully introducing Mari Beach Club in Bali. In Padang, his beach club is named Marawa Beach Club.
Being the first beach club in West Sumatra, this place to eat and hang out is very popular with local people who want to relax. They are busy visiting the beach club, which is located in the Air Manis Beach area, Padang City.

The netizen is known as Fatih Frederik. He was seen showing off his dining bill at the Marawa Beach Club worth IDR 1.2 million, although it is not known whether the bill was his own or someone else’s.
In his upload, he also included a song called Meggy Z’s Terlalu, as if showing the price of the Marawa Beach Club menu is too expensive.
Seen in the food bill, 1 Aqua 600 ml is priced at Rp. 25 thousand, Rose of My Eyes drink Rp. 48 thousand, Strawberry Crush drink Rp. 48 thousand, and Regular Iced Tea Rp. 30 thousand.
Then there are also foods such as Nasi Goreng Marawa which is priced at Rp. 105 thousand per serving, Beef Kwetiau at Rp. 115 thousand per portion, and Burgers at Rp. 55 thousand per portion. He ordered several menus above more than 1 such as 5 Aqua, 3 Marawa Fried Rice, 3 Beef Kwetiau, and 2 Burgers.
No wonder the total cost of the meal reached IDR 1,021,000. Then Marawa Beach Club set an additional tax and service fee of 18% (Rp 183,780) so that the total reached Rp 1,204,780.

Netizens immediately responded to the nyinyir_update_official upload. Most of them seemed to disagree with Fatih Frederik’s opinion by saying that the price set by Marawa Beach Club was indeed appropriate.
“The point is that those who can afford to go there, if you can’t afford to eat at warteg… the target is not you ..,” said a netizen. “You don’t eat Padang rice, right, that’s the (price),” said another netizen.
There are also those who say, “Just like this, if you can’t afford it, don’t be in the mood to eat there. Maybe it’s not in your budget.” Also satire from netizens for Fatih Frederik, “If aunt lala says ‘this is for those who can afford it, honey…'”

detikfood has tried to trace the figure of Fatih Frederik on Facebook for questioning, but his account is locked. detikfood has also contacted the admin Marawa Beach Club via Instagram and WhatsApp to confirm, but have not received a reply.
A detikfood search to the Marawa Beach Club Instagram account found that in fact their party had clearly included information on various prices for the food and drink menu. They also include the entry requirements to Marawa Beach Club, which is a minimum spend of IDR 100 thousand for adults and IDR 50 thousand for children over 12 years old.
