Mohamed Talaat, head of the mobile division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said of the increase in the prices of mobile devices, that all companies increased the prices of mobile phones, where they were initially increased by 10%, and then increased again by another 10%.
He added in an interview conducted by “Seventh Day TV” within a special coverage of the editorial hall, on the prices of mobile phones, presented by colleague Nisreen Fouad, that the market was affected by the increase in mobile prices and mobile phones fell from 20 to 30% and this – also due to students ’exams and other current conditions.
He pointed out that the increase in mobile prices is not related to the dollar, but is related to the government’s 5% increase in mobile prices, stressing that it is not its time.

On the decline in mobile prices again, he said that the matter will not appear during the current period, indicating that by the end of Eid al-Adha, the full picture will become clear in terms of buying, selling and prices.
