At the same time, the match was still goalless at halftime. “We only dealt with minor adjustments because, as I said, we were quite dominant in the first half. In general, it is difficult to penetrate the opponent’s low block in a 5-3-2 formation, so we needed to get a little more speed into the game,” he returned in the assessment of the first half of the Letenské coach.

So what exactly was the team supposed to change? “Although we were properly patient, we wanted to combine a little faster, which we didn’t do very well in some passages of the first half. But you could see a lot of effort from the team, so I think the win was deserved,” he added.

After leaving for Austria, the team’s training process is also slowly changing. “We run a little less to be more fresh in the matches. We also focus on the individual perspective. We have three matches in eight days, so we have to adapt everything to what the given player needs,” explained Nørgaard.

“Of course, the whole program is a little more focused on tactics compared to the first two weeks in Prague. But in general, it’s about constantly explaining to the players what we want from them and pushing them to give everything they do in every training session. so it’s mainly about mentality and quality in every training session,” he added.
