This weekend the Spanish men’s team has debuted. It has done so in the Celtic Cup, held between April 28 and May 1 at the Saint Germain des Halles Club (France), in a championship in which, in addition to Spain, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium and Welsh.

Two wins against Wales and France 2-1 and 1-0 and a goalless draw with Scotland saw the Sixtiberians play for third place. Only one goal in the goal average deprived the Spaniards of playing in the final, which Scotland won.

The goal that earned third place for our team was achieved by Toni Nogués (78 years old) in a Penalty Corner during the third quarter.

The next commitment will be the European Championship in Valencia, between June 22 and July 1.

Spain will be in the group with England, Ireland, Italy and Wales and the two best teams will qualify for the semi-finals.
