Another six of the ten Spanish Leopard 2A4s will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming days
Leopard 2A4 tanks handed over to Ukraine by Western allies are already on the front line. They are not yet engaged in combat, but will be included in the upcoming counter-offensive, the start of which has been delayed due to bad weather, German television N-TV reported.
“The wet winter is delaying the counteroffensive of the armed forces of Ukraine, but experts expect it to begin no earlier than the beginning of May. German tanks should become an important part of it,” explained NTV reporter Gordon Fritz.
Also Leopard tanks and Bergepanzer armored recovery vehicles were spotted in Poland during transport from Germany. Another six of Spain’s ten Leopard 2A4s will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming days, the Spanish government announced on Friday.
