FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) – S&P Global Ratings has confirmed the top credit rating of AAA for Switzerland. The outlook remains “stable”. However, the Aalysts expect the economy to decline by 6.3 percent in 2020 and do not expect a recovery of 4.6 percent until 2021. But Switzerland has extensive external and fiscal buffers and the monetary flexibility will enable the economy to cope with the temporary effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
