Southampton collects another bankruptcy in Newcastle

Four days after the 9-0 defeat against Manchester United, Southampton lost again in the English Premier League. The “Saints” coached by Ralph Hasenhüttl lost on Saturday against Newcastle 2: 3 (1: 3).

Joseph Willock (16th) and Miguel Almiron (26th, 45th + 4) scored the goals for the home side, goals from Takumi Minamino (30th), ex-Salzburg player and Liverpool loan, and James Ward-Prowse ( 48.) were not enough for Southampton. Newcastle ended the game after a yellow-red for Jeff Hendrick (50th) outnumbered, but the guests conceded their fifth league bankruptcy en suite.

There was also a setback for Arsenal – the “Gunners” had to admit they lost 1-0 away to Aston Villa. Ollie Watkins scored the winning goal for the hosts in Villa Park after just 75 seconds.
