At least 50 people suffered cardiac arrest as residents jostled to celebrate Halloween in the Itaewon area. South KoreaSaturday (29/10).
Press Agency Yonhap reported that authorities had performed CPR on more than 50 people at 10:30 pm local time.
Numerous videos have circulated on social media showing the authorities helping Itaewon residents.
However, Reuters I cannot confirm the authenticity of the video.
Meanwhile, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol immediately ordered the emergency medical team to go to the scene immediately.
He also stressed that all hospital beds must be prepared immediately for the victims of this accident.
According to him, hospital bed preparation is important to minimize the risk of death.
