Kwena Mafaka’s brilliant bowling performance led South Africa to victory in the Super Six match. Mafaka took six wickets in 8.2 overs giving away 21 runs including a maiden. The player bowled at a staggering economy of 2.52. The future Proteas superstar took six wickets with his fiery bowling, dismissing five men in the top order and last out Duvindu Ranatunga.

Pulintu Parera 0 (4), Sinath Jayawardene 6 (13), Supun Vaduge 0 (8), Dinura Kulupahana 19 (24), Hirun Kapurabandara 16 (16) and Duvindu Ranatunga 4 (10) were dismissed by Mafaka. Batting against Sri Lanka, South Africa’s Elhuna Dre Pretorius scored 71 off 77 balls and Riley Norton scored 41.
Apart from Mafaka, Riley Norton took four wickets in five overs conceding 28 runs including a maiden.
