Informed sources have revealed new details about the incident of the discovery of the skeletons of a number of donkeys dumped in the desert of the village of Blida, in the center of Al-Ayat.
south of Giza.
The sources said in statements to Masrawy that the slaughtered donkeys were not taken, their meat was not offered for sale and traded in the markets, pointing out that they will be buried early in the morning with the knowledge of specialized veterinary services.
A working group that included the Veterinary Medicine Directorate and the Al-Ayyat City Council, in coordination with the Al-Ayyat and Badrashin Investigation Division, decided to scour the aforementioned desert to cause the great catastrophe.
Responsible sources – who refused to be named – confirmed that more than 20 donkeys – slaughtered and skeletons – were found more than a month ago, and were skinned to sell their skins without selling their meat.
The sources stressed the issue of official directives to launch inspection campaigns on markets, shops and restaurants; To ensure the validity of the meat, the security services are stepping up their efforts, led by Major General Abdul Aziz Salim, to discover the identity of the perpetrators and arrest them.
