Source: Kaprizov and Sorokin will spend the next season in CSKA

Attack Kirill Kaprizov and goalkeeper Ilya Sorokin, who defended the colors of Moscow CSKA, will continue to perform in the capital’s club next season, according to Match TV.

Both hockey players will remain in the Moscow team for another season. The probability according to Kaprizov is 95%, according to Sorokin – 90%, the source informs. This decision is due to the fact that NHL clubs will not be allowed to sign new players this season, which was confirmed during today’s press conference of the League Commissioner Gary Bettman. Thus, Kaprizov and Sorokin will sign new contracts with CSKA and will be able to start the season in September, so as not to lose the game practice.

Also today it became known that the next season in the NHL is scheduled to begin in January 2021.

Last season, the KHL regular season, Kaprizov held 57 matches for CSKA, in which he scored 33 goals and made 29 assists. In the playoffs, the forward scored 4 (2 + 2) points in 4 matches.

Sorokin played 60 matches for the “army” in the regular season, in which he missed 54 goals, reflecting an average of 93.5% of shots and having a safety factor of 1.5. In the first round of the playoff series of the Gagarin Cup with the Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo” (4-0) he had two chat outs. In four games, he conceded three goals. Its percentage of reflected shots was 96.6%, and the reliability coefficient was 0.75.
