To die in the middle of applause is the wish of many actors, Milan Lasica was neither an optimist nor a pessimist, but a melancholy and bitter commentator, he had an ironic attitude towards death. He didn’t want to pretend on stage, he played naturally and that was enough, says actor Boleslav Polívka. He didn’t take Havel’s tribute lightly, but was generally reserved for honors and prizes, he adds.
