Soundpeats T3 in the test – small but really big?

Today we would like to introduce you to an alternative to the many “earbud” headphones on the market Soundpeats T3. These promise an optimal sound experience at a reasonable price, so let’s find out together whether they can meet these requirements.

A test sample was kindly made available to us for testing.

With regard to the test of the sound image, I tested the following pieces of music in order to be able to draw a comparable conclusion. For the sake of completeness I have listed them here for you:

Spotify / iPhone 11 / Shaun Baker – Explode

Spotify / iPhone 11 / Sabaton – Bismarck

Spotify / iPhone 11 / Nathan Whitehead – Sarah’s Theme

Spotify / iPhone 11 / The Rhythm of my Heart – London Symphony Orchestra

Spotify / iPhone 11 / Pixel Love – Todd Helder

In addition to the test scenarios mentioned above, the Soundpeats T3 were also used in everyday life over a longer period of time.

The most important properties at a glance:
Design: In-Ear
Connection: Bluetooth 5.2
Driver: 10 mm
Battery life: up to 19 hours
Charging time headphones: 90 minutes
Loading time case: 90 minutes
Codecs: SBC, AAC
scope of delivery

The Soundpeats T3 come in an elegant box, which protects the headphones well during transport. After opening it, the usual tidy interior awaits us, in which we can find everything we need. Everything worth knowing about the Soundpeats T3 as well as everything about handling and guarantee, silicone ear pads in 3 different sizes, the charging box and of course the Soundpeats T3.

Full enjoyment at a low price

Let’s be honest, what are the most important points when it comes to wireless in-ear headphones? The battery life and range, of course, after all we want freedom and not have to constantly charge the battery. The manufacturer’s promise “almost 19 hours of playback time‘ That sounds pretty decent. In our test, the charged Soundpeats T3 easily lasted around 5.5 to 6 hours during video calls or continuous musical accompaniment without ANC. With the ANC function active, however, we only get just under 4 hours. If you now add charging twice through the charging box, you get almost 16-19 hours. This is by no means bad, but some competitors last much longer here. The charging box itself can be conveniently charged using the supplied USB-C cable and is therefore ready for use at any time

In terms of looks and quality, the T3 can definitely play in the upper class. The wearing comfort also leaves nothing to be desired, after almost 5 hours I almost forgot to have them in my ears until the battery was empty.

The little black dress

Don’t let the headline irritate you, but these little black Soundpeats T3 pack a punch, even if they appear rather unobtrusive at first glance. In terms of sound, the headphones are convincing in almost all areas. The deep bass in particular showed what is in these small, well-tuned Soundpeats T3. Only the depths leave something to be desired here, but this is by no means disturbing.

In addition, the T3 bring different sound modes with them:

  • transparency mode – This lets you enjoy your music to the fullest without ignoring the surroundings. So you can still see when a vehicle is approaching when you cross the street.
  • ANC-Modus – This lets us completely immerse ourselves in the sound experience. All background noise is perfectly dampened, which means full concentration on the sound experience.
  • Active noise cancellation – AI noise canceling technology for the outward-facing microphone. This way your conversation partner only hears what he is supposed to hear.

As you can see, there is something for every occasion, and the whole thing can be adjusted at any time via an app.

Touch elements for operation

As you have already read, the Soundpeats T3 can be operated via touch elements. The two touch-sensitive outsides are used here, which bring with them a wide variety of functions. A single tap increases or decreases the volume, a double tap on the left lets you answer calls while the music playback can be started or paused on the right.

Hello Hello?

The sound of the built-in microphone is also clear and makes a passable impression. Here you can convince yourself:

price

The price here is just under 50 euros, depending on the provider.

Our conclusion

The Soundpeats T3 can convince as far as possible across the board, from the design to the sound, everything seems coherent and well thought out. Of course you have to make one or the other compromise here, but this is quite bearable at a price of 50€. So if you are looking for inexpensive in-ears, you should take a closer look at them.
