Soon you will be able to play the worst Fallout with slightly better graphics

Exactly twenty-five years have passed since the release of the first Fallout on October 10, and Bethesda, which currently owns the rights to the brand, continues its anniversary celebrations. However, most of the news is about the latest installment of Fallout 76, from which, despite the not very successful release (see our article) has become a surprisingly successful game over time.

Fallout 4 has a lot of problems, but the graphics are paradoxically not one of them.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the fourth part of 2015 (cf. our review). While the bugs that plagued it at the time of release have mostly been fixed, its superficial gameplay sadly remains unchanged. Soon, however, at least it will be looked at better.

For owners of “new” consoles, an update is in the works, which will substantially improve its technical presentation. The game will now run in 4K resolution at sixty frames per second, and on PlayStation you can also expect tactile response. The update will be free for all over 13 million people who have purchased the game, but unfortunately we don’t know when it will be available right now.

However, in our opinion, even this improvement is not enough reason to launch Fallout 4. If you want a good game from a post-apocalyptic world, we recommend two-year-old Wasteland 3 (see our review). Or if Fallout is more like the third part, which is currently free in the Epic Store (see our article).
