We are now on the final stretch before the official announcement of the PS5 and we look forward to this PlayStation 5 ! Just because it’s here ALONE living room console that will offer Virtual Reality. Phil Spencer does not seem interested in VR and prefers to direct its console towards the Cloud Gaming and its juicy subscriptions… VR is indeed an obstacle to the good development of the Cloud because if the latter was a hit, the cloud should offer VR in Streaming and for the moment, it is struggling to display 4K 60 FPS in all homes … The flow barrier is very physical! (However, if the Series X opens its doors to VR, this could bring renewed interest to the market, so we remain very attentive to its development).
But what we most expect is that the cap of the PS5 finally jump and that the developers start communicating again on their current projects! The studios are very quiet at the moment. They are in an extended wait, no longer investing in the PS4, nor in the PSVR while waiting to learn more! When Sony finally releases its PlayStation 5, the next step will be how this console will improve the rendering of games PSVR and especially to know more about the next PSVR 2.
