LENGKONG, AYOBANDUNG.COM – Sony Indonesia officially launched its latest flagship camera, namely Sony Alpha 1 which is claimed to have a variety of advanced technologies and features that can support the creativity of photographers and videographers from various genres, especially those who are in the portrait and birding photography genres.

The camera, which costs nearly Rp. 92 million, has various capabilities and operations that are claimed to be easy and reliable, equipped with the latest full-frame Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with 50.1 megapixels made with integral memory.
This image sensor is paired with the upgraded BIONZ XR image processing engine with eight times more processing power, enabling continuous 50.1-megapixel shooting at 30fps without blackout for up to 120 AF / AE per second computation.
It also allows the camera to produce a wide dynamic range of 15+ stops for video and 15 stops for stills.
Sony Alpha 1 also claimed to have capable autofocus capabilities. This camera can ensure unfailing accuracy and focus in environments where it is difficult to focus thanks to the 759 phase detection points in the high-density focal plane phase-detection AF system that covers approximately 92 percent of the image area.
Then, thanks to the powerful BIONZ XR image processing engine, Sony’s Real-time Eye AF can improve detection performance by 30 percent over the previous system.
Apart from having Real-time Eye AF for humans and animals, Alpha 1 also provides Real-time Eye AF for birds. This ability is the first in the Alpha series.
This new camera is also equipped with an electronic shutter that offers silent anti-flicker continuous shooting, without mechanical noise and vibration.
In addition, the Alpha 1 Camera also allows electronic shutter flash synchronization of up to 1/200 second. The Alpha 1 camera can also more easily capture dynamic motion thanks to the world’s fastest mechanical shutter flash with up to 1/400 second synchronization.
Coming to Indonesia in May 2021, prices Sony Alpha 1 is IDR 91,999,000. Pre-order purchases for this camera can be made from March 26 – April 25, 2021.
