Moenchengladbach/Krefeld. In the Nassau stables at Schloss Wickrath, the SOMMERLEUCHTEN are taking place for the third time. On June 17th and 18th, Jutta Brandt-Stracke and Reiner Stracke H. from Krefeld will be showing works of art from the last two years and cordially invite you to visit them.

The Summer Lights is an exhibition series that takes place there every 2 years. It’s about summery “easy-going” – a casual meeting about and with art.

“Art washes the dust of everyday life from the soul” – this is what Picasso is often quoted as saying. This is certainly not the only thing that affects art experience, but in this presentation it is the main concern of the exhibitors.

Jutta Brandt-Stracke’s works once again invite you to combine dream and reality and thus travel into fantasy worlds. This time she accompanies her figurative paintings, which are mainly painted in oil, with small formats created in mixed media.

Reiner Stracke H. has continued on his experimental path and surprises visitors with new works that combine a wide variety of techniques. Friends of photography, which is his second mainstay, can also expect new photographic art.

The varied presentation opens daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Both artists are happy that their exhibition series can now be continued in the usual relaxed atmosphere after a period of restrictions and friction, and look forward to personal encounters, discussions and joint enjoyment of art. They are present on both opening days. Admission is free!
