General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto expressed insinuations to him about his defeat in the presidential election. Prabowo said that someone insinuated him why he wanted to continue in the presidential election.
“There are those who ask, there are those who ask, yes, maybe you have lost so many times, why do you want to go forward again,” Prabowo said at the Gerindra Rapimnas at SICC Sentul, Bogor, Friday (12/8/2022).
Prabowo said those who satirized him did not understand the meaning of the struggle. Prabowo brings up the story of Sukarno as Indonesia’s first President.

“Maybe they don’t understand the meaning of a fighter,” Prabowo said.
“When Bung Karno was imprisoned by the Dutch, did he stop his struggle?” he added.
Prabowo previously interpreted the meaning of a true warrior. For fighters, said Prabowo, there is no such thing as losing.
“Defeat can only be interpreted as defeat if in our hearts we accept it as defeat,” Prabowo said.
Warriors, said Prabowo, defeat is a common thing. Prabowo emphasized that the most important thing from defeat is the spirit to rise and fight again.
“For a fighter, falling is normal. For a warrior if we fall we get up again, fall again get up again. An ordinary fighter when we fall. It is more noble to enter the arena, more to start fighting for justice, fall and get up and smile. We rise with a smile,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo is scheduled to answer the request to become a presidential candidate in 2024 from Gerindra cadres tonight.
