Someone has to explain how 100 million vaccines were bought for more than 700 million euros for 15 million people. Maybe in front of prosecutors

Marcel Ciolacu declared, on Sunday evening, on Antena 3, that someone has to explain how 100 million vaccines worth over 700 million euros were bought during the coronavirus pandemic, for 15 million people:

• “Maybe even in front of the prosecutors” should be given the explanations, said the PSD leader.

The President of the Chamber of Deputies stated that he does not understand why Romania bought another 40 million doses of vaccine, although it had in stock 65 million doses of anti-COVID-19 serum.

• “They bought 65 million doses for the first time. About two million expired a few days ago, I threw them away. We have a population target for vaccination of 15 million Romanians, in May last year, the USR Minister, it seems to me, from Health, signed a memorandum to the Government, was countersigned by Mr. Barna, because he was the Deputy Prime Minister with responsibilities on health and there are two more signatories, the Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister, but the whole procedure is out of the health zone.
