Arsenal’s season could go from bad to worse.
The striker slumped to a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa at Villa Park this afternoon for what was his second loss in three days, after losing to the Wolves in the middle of the week.
Mikel Arteta’s team have only won one point in their last three games, but what is even more worrying, it looks like Thomas Partey could be ready for a season on the sidelines… again.
The Ghana international has only made nine Premier League starts since joining Arsenal for £ 45 million from Atlético Madrid in October.

Partey has suffered two separate injuries since then and left this afternoon with what Arteta claimed was a muscle problem, but could not release details on how serious it was.
Another injury to their star midfield is the last thing Arsenal need and this is how some fans of the North London club reacted to the news today:

It could just be a blow that escapes in training in the next few days, or it could be something a little more sinister, but for Arsenal’s sake, and Arteta’s sake, you hope this is a problem in the short term.
