Sofia Public Transport Workers Protest for 30% Salary Increase, Six Lines Affected

Six lines of public transport in Sofia are expected to be affected by today’s protest of workers in the capital’s public transport system. The action was organized by the Federation of Transport Trade Unions at the KNSB, and the main demand is for 30% salary increase.

The demonstration will take place in the metropolitan district “Druzhba”, at the last stop of lines 4, 88, 204, 304, 384 and H4 from public transport. They serve the neighborhoods Gotse Delchev, NIM, Zoo, Hadji Dimitar and Sofia Airport.

Traffic on these lines is expected to be temporarily disabled.

The protest starts at 8 o’clock.
