“Crisis of confidence in political parties, in political personalities and in institutions”. Sociologist Vasil Tonchev told BNR in a summary of the data from a sociological survey by “Sova Harris”, conducted in recent days

According to him, the survey reports record low ratings of the parliamentary parties.

According to him, this collapse of trust means that people do not find their representatives to send to power, and this can lead to even lower voter turnout in the next elections.

Tonchev emphasized that the manner in which the “Denkov-Gabriel” government was formed contributed to the crisis of confidence registered in the study.

When asked “Do you trust the following political parties?” the GERB-SDS coalition received the most votes – 13.2%.

In second place in terms of trust is “Vazrazhdane” with 12.4%. Only with this formation is the trend up, note the authors of the study.

The third and fourth positions are for “Democratic Bulgaria” and “We continue the change” with 10.9% and 10.4%.

There is 6.8% trust in “Levitsa”, 6.1% in BSP, 5.8% in ITN, 4.0% in DPS, and 3.6% in “Bulgarian Rise”.

The survey was commissioned and financed by the PIK, it was conducted in the period June 10-13, 2023 among 800 Bulgarian citizens using the standardized telephone interview method
