Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Bundesliga club SC Freiburg wants to end a negative series in the game at FC Augsburg today (3:30 p.m. / Sky). The team of coach Christian Streich has been without a win against the team from Fuggerstadt for seven games, most recently there were four draws and three defeats.
National player Robin Koch can count on a start in the starting line-up despite an injury break, as Streich announced. The central defender had to stop training after a laceration from the game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The midfielders Vincenzo Grifo and Janik Haberer, who were on the bench after suffering from flu infections against Hoffenheim, are fit again.
In Augsburg, Freiburg meet their former striker Florian Niederlechner. The 29-year-old is Augsburg’s top scorer with eleven goals so far. He had moved from Freiburg to the Bavarian Swabians last summer.
