Freiburg (AP) – Bundesliga soccer club SC Freiburg has again extended attacker Nils Petersen’s contract, which expires in the summer. According to information from the club on Friday, it was agreed not to disclose the content and duration of the new working paper. “We deliberately gave Nils all the time so that he could make a good decision for himself. Now we are very happy about the extension of this successful and special cooperation,” said board member Jochen Saier in a club statement.

The 33-year-old Petersen is deputy captain and record goalscorer for the Breisgau team at the Sport-Club. With 31 goals after being substituted on, he is also the most successful joker in the Bundesliga.
