Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – The cup final of the Südbadischer Fußballverband (SBFV) will be played in the Freiburg Black Forest Stadium. As the SBFV announced on Thursday, 400 Zuchauer will be admitted to the Bundesliga stadium of SC Freiburg on August 22nd (2:45 p.m.). The tickets will not go on sale, but should be distributed by the two finalists in the club environment.
“The Black Forest Stadium offers us ideal conditions to hold the final under the current requirements of the Corona Regulation,” said SBFV Vice President Christian Dusch.
Because of the Corona crisis, numerous state cup competitions were interrupted, so the cup winner has not yet been determined in South Baden. On Saturday, the semi-final between VfR Stockach and 1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen will be rescheduled, which was canceled due to a corona infection in the direct vicinity of a VfR player. In the second semi-final – also on Saturday – SC Lahr and SV Oberachern face each other.
The opponent of SC Freiburg for the first round of the DFB Cup, the winner of the Baden State Cup, will be determined in Hoffenheim’s Dietmar Hopp Stadium. There, on the final day of the amateurs (4.45 p.m.), FC Nöttingen will play either against ASC Neuenheim or SV Waldhof Mannheim. The final of the Württemberg State Cup (2.45 p.m.) is to take place in Stuttgart’s GaZi Stadium on the Waldau.
