Something caught the attention of potential issuers of PT Jhonlin Agro Raya Tbk. The figure who occupies the chair of the company’s President Commissioner is only 21 years old.
He is Jhony Saputura who is the son of Haji Samsudin Andi Arsyad or popularly known as Haji Isam. The information was obtained from the company’s prospectus.
“There is no familial relationship between the members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners and Shareholders, except that Jhony Saputra as the President Commissioner is the son of the controlling and beneficial owner of the company, namely Haji Samsudin Andi Arsyad and the nephew of Haji Sudirman as the shareholder of EAS and the commissioner of EAS, Haji Sudirman is the younger brother of Haji Samsudin Andi Arsyad,” said Jhonlin Agro Raya’s prospectus quoted Tuesday (12/7/2022).

The company is engaged in the plantation and processing of palm oil in South Kalimantan. Prior to the IPO, the shareholder structure was 99.91% held by PT Eshan Agro Sentosa, the remaining 0.09% was owned by PT Sinar Bintang Mulia.
Eshan Agro Sentosa itself is a subholding of PT Jhonlin Group which is a company owned by Haji Isam.
Another interesting thing is that Jhony has a work history as a shareholder in 4 other companies. Such as PT Surya Mega Adiperkasa (2020-present), PT Modal Harapan Bangsa (2018-present), PT Citra Agro Raya (2017-present) and PT Araya Agro Lestari (2017-present).
Jhony is known to be only 21 years old. His last education was SMA Al Azhar, Central Jakarta, which he graduated in 2018.
For your information, the prospective issuer with the stock code JARR will issue 1,222,950,000 shares. The stock price range offered is in the range of RP 250-300 per share.
