Smart people put baking soda in old socks. You won’t believe the effects it has

Every housewife knows this very well: sometimes it happens that the elves run rampant in our house and eat a pair of sock. Now we have some weird socks, now what to do with them? Blow, blow? We don’t really want that. Use them wisely, especially the long ones, not the ankle-length ones.

They can serve us perfectly when cleaning, when we turn them into a duster, or we also put them on our hands and clean the blinds. Simply put, the uses are many. We would like to introduce you to another way such weird socks can be used.

Baking soda sock

What will baking soda in a long sock bring us? A natural odor absorber that can be used both in the closet and in unattractive smelling shoes. Always keep a knotted sock filled with baking soda in the shoe cabinet. As soon as you get home, take off your shoes and put this odor absorber inside. So you don’t have to worry about unpleasant foot odor the next day. Change the soda in the sock about once every three months.

Does your neck hurt? Use it as a warming compress

If you have pain in your neck, back, joints, abdomen, and so on, use a warm compress. You don’t have to spend money on heating pads, make them from a sock. Just fill the sock with rice, tie a knot, heat it up and place it on the sore spot. Put the stuffed sock in the microwave for half a minute and heat it up in this easy way. You can also use it in a cold bed under the duvet. It will help you create warmth. Simple but so effective.

Soft clothes from the dryer

Many helpers can be purchased for dryers, from fragrances to products that keep clothes and other fabrics wonderfully soft, for which special wipes are often used. Don’t spend on them and rather use what you have at home. All you need is a long sock and a tennis ball to tie into the sock. Now use how you would use the napkins. Throw it in the dryer with wet clothes and let it run at normal temperature.
