Votes after the match:

Marek Kardoš, coach of the Slovak Republic: “I’m sorry. We didn’t have quality service, we did a little aces, we spoiled easy submissions when it wasn’t necessary. Opponent had good service, we had a worse income. Still we played well in the attack, but we didn’t close the line, we lacked defense discipline. We just didn’t have our day. We’ll see what lineup the Germans play, but we have to play much better than we do today. ”

Šimon Krajčovič player of the SR: “We are disappointed, we did not manage the match. The Croats played without pressure, we did not manage it. But the chance is still alive.”

Filip Palgut, SR player: “The decisive thing was that we couldn’t handle the passing and attacking of the opponent. And we didn’t defend the extreme players. They made a lot of points even from the negative income, and that killed us a lot.”
