Sky News is concerned about climate change

By Carlos PIRES, the

As Britain prepares to host the climate change summit of the COP26 in Glasgow, including Sky will be the main partner, the chain Sky News will launch the first daily news program dedicated to climate change.

Hosted by Anna Jones, Sky News presenter, The Daily Climate Show will feature the work of Sky News correspondents in Britain and abroad as they investigate how global warming is changing our landscape and changing the way we all live. It will also highlight solutions to the crisis and show viewers the small changes they can make that will make a big difference.

The 15-minute show will air on the Sky News website and app, YouTube and Twitter, and will air at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A weekly digital edition will be posted on all Sky News social platforms, including Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram. A companion podcast Climatecast deepen the issues addressed in the week and a digital dashboard will give Sky News viewers and consumers a real-time minute-by-minute view of how energy is being generated and used, and just how close the planet is to a potentially catastrophic temperature rise.
