Wind turbines are also doing well, especially onshore ones. They produce almost 10% more electricity than in 2021, again because more turbines have been added. No new wind turbines were added offshore and there was less wind than in 2021. The result: a decrease in the production of the 2%. But overall, the share of electricity from wind and solar rose from 16.7% in 2021 to 19.8% in 2022.
