Ski, men’s giant in Adelboden: Odermatt wins again

The Swiss Odermatt, leader of the World Cup, also dominated the men’s giant slalom in Adelboden, Switzerland. Behind him the Norwegian Kristoffersen at 73 hundredths of a second, the Swiss Meillard third at 1’66”. Abysmal detachments from fourth position, all over two seconds. Best of the Italians was the 21-year-old Filippo Della Vite, eleventh, 3’36” behind the winner. The race was interrupted in the final phase due to the bad fall of the Frenchman Victor Muffat-Jeandet, seventh after the first heat, who underwent the necessary medical checks. Tomorrow in Adelboden it’s the turn of the special slalom: 10.30 and 13.30.
