A six-year-old boy from the Rohrbach district had an accident on Friday afternoon with an electrically operated children’s quad.
The boy had sped down two embankments in the small four-wheeled vehicle in a meadow near the family’s home before he lost control of the vehicle.
Without being able to brake, the elementary school student smashed through a metal fence with full force and fell down a two meter high stone wall together with his quad.
The boy’s mother, who had observed the accident from a distance, immediately called the emergency services. The little boy was taken to Rohrbach Hospital with injuries.
