Six warplanes were destroyed in a Ukrainian strike on a Russian airfield

At least six warplanes were destroyed and another eight were seriously damaged in the attack on Morozov airfield in Russia’s Rostov region.

About 20 military personnel were also killed or wounded.

Su-24, Su-24M and Su-34 bombers were located at the airfield. According to the sources, these are the planes that Russia is using to drop guided hovering bombs on Ukrainian forces positions and Ukrainian frontline cities.

On Friday, another explosion took place near the Morozov airfield, exploding one of the flying robots that fell during the night. Eight Russian investigators who were investigating the attack that took place at night were injured in the explosion, Rostov Region Governor Vasiliy Golubev said.

On the other hand, in the attack on the Engelsa-2 airfield in the Saratov region, three Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers were damaged and at least seven military personnel were killed, among whom could also be the strategic bomber pilots.

There was also an attack on the military airfield in Jeisk in the Krasnodar region. Two Su-25 dive bombers were completely destroyed and four Russian soldiers were killed.

The airfield in Kursk was also attacked by flying robots.
