Six Italians in the Financial Times ranking of the best European incubators

UnternehmerTUM in Germany, Hexa in Belgium and SETsquared in the United Kingdom are on the podium of the first edition of the ranking “Europe’s Leading Start-up hubs 2024”, ranking launched by Financial Times with the contribution of Statista and Sifted for the analyses, created with the aim of identifying the best European hubs for the acceleration and incubation of startups.

Unsurprisingly, the UK, with London being Europe’s venture capital hub, is the country with the most of those listed (24), followed by Germany (16) and Spain (15).

Only six Italians among the 125 awarded: HFarm in 33rd place, dock3 – The Startup Lab (partner program of CTE – Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Roma Capitale) in 56th, LVenture Group in 67th, PoliHub in 90th, Scientifica Venture Capital (95th) and Unimi Foundation, innovation hub supporting technology transfer and incubation of innovative start-ups at 123rd, selected from over 2,000 organizations from 34 different countries.

The main parameter for evaluating the innovation hubs, which accounted for 85% of the final vote, was the judgment given by the recipients of the acceleration and incubation programs in which they participated.
