Epidemiological report:

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP), today 12,457 analyzes were carried out and 1,366 new cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 were detected. Of the 1,366 new cases, 660 are from Montevideo, 166 from Rivera, 124 from Canelones, 84 from Cerro Largo, 51 from San José, 44 from Paysandú, 42 from Artigas, 34 from Maldonado, 32 from Salto, 27 from Florida, 27 from Tacuarembó, 21 from Río Negro, 12 from Treinta y Tres, 10 from Colonia, 10 from Lavalleja, 8 from Soriano, 7 from Rocha, 4 from Durazno and 3 from Flores. In all cases, strict epidemiological monitoring is carried out.

Since the health emergency was declared on March 13, 1,114,405 have been processed and 69,074 positive cases of Coronavirus have been registered throughout the national territory. Of that total, 58,627 have already been recovered.

Today 6 deaths with a diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 were confirmed in our country. They are 1 patient from Colonia, 95 years old, 1 patient from Tacuarembó, 68 years old, and 4 patients from Montevideo, 63, 75, 84 and 85 years old. So far there are 689 deaths diagnosed with COVID-19 in Uruguay.

There are currently 9758 active cases, that is, people who are suffering from the disease, 110 of them are in intensive care.

Of the total confirmed positive cases, 3,699 correspond to health personnel. 3,281 of them have already recovered, 411 are suffering from the disease and 7 have died.

As of today, the 19 departments have active cases.

CLARIFICATION:
The total of confirmed positive cases until yesterday was 67,717. Today 1,366 new cases and a total of 69,074 confirmed positive cases are reported. The difference is explained because 9 cases were eliminated.
