Singer John De Wilde, known as one of the singers of De Strangers, was allowed to blow out 90 candles today. To celebrate that special moment, the city of Antwerp has invited him to the town hall. “As a city we are very proud of someone like John,” says Antwerp’s Alderman for Culture, Nabilla Ait Daoud (N-VA). “The songs of De Strangers are cultural heritage, they are simply in the DNA of Antwerp.”
