Simultaneous KOMAK AND SATLAK TRAINING IN PASMAR 3 RANGE TO IMPROVE PROFESSIONALITY

Pasmar 3 as the Main Executing Command of the Marine Corps of the Navy held exercises simultaneously in their respective units, in order to support the professionalism of personnel and units in Kolak and Satlak including the ranks of Yonmarhanlan as provisions for future assignments. Thursday (19/08/2021).

Beginning with the Rajawali Papuan soldiers Brigif 3 Marines carrying out the Basic Individual Exercise (LPD) TW III with shooting material. The purpose of the shooting practice is to hone skills individually and sharpen instincts in shooting assault weapons of the SS2-V4 type. In this exercise, 3 attitudes were carried out, namely the prone position, sitting and standing with a distance of 100 meters.

Not to be outdone by Rajawali Papua soldiers in terms of shooting, the 3rd Marine Cavalry Regiment also held a gun shooting practice, the types of pistols used in this exercise were P226, P2 Pistol, FN Pistol and G2 Combat.

Unlike the case with Brigif 3 Marines and Menkav 3 Marines, Yontaifib 3 Marines also held shooting exercises, but shooting exercises this time were more complex because this activity involved shooting reactions, accuracy and shooting barricades.

Separately, the 3rd Marines Artillery Regiment and 3rd Marines Combat Assistance Regiment held sea swimming exercises at Katapop Beach Pier, Salawati District, Sorong Regency, West Papua. The purpose of carrying out these activities is because we as amphibious lander soldiers, swimming is a basic obligation that must be owned by every soldier. Marine swimming is also used in infiltration on the real battlefield.
