Silent Hill, Metal Gear and Castlevania games exclusively on PS5? News @JVL

Sony is said to be negotiating with Konami to buy the rights to Silent Hill, Metal Gear and Castlevania.

As we learned a few days ago that rumors were pointing to a Silent Hill license reboot from Sony, now other rumors of corridors are beginning to spread like wildfire.

According to the same sources who report the production of two new games silent Hill, including one overseen by Hideo Kojima, Sony is said to be in negotiations with Konami to buy back the rights of the license as well as those of Metal Gear and of Castlevania.

The plan would be to have serious cartridges level exclusivity on the side of the PlayStation 5.

The project would therefore be to develop the remakes of Metal Gear and of Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, with the help of Kojima, who became close to the Japanese manufacturer and designed a new 3D episode of Castlevania, in a style approaching Bloodborne.

The tweezers are obviously de rigueur but if Sony and Konami are really negotiating to develop these licenses again on PlayStation 5, it could be a big blow on the part of the Japanese manufacturer.
