LINZ. In addition to many Linz citizens and initiatives, the parish Linz-St. Konrad am Froschberg in solidarity with the chain of lights on the Ringstrasse in Vienna, in order to set a clear but silent commemoration of 13,000 Covid deceased and their relatives.
After the services, those celebrating lit candles and created a clear but silent memory of 13,000 Covid deceased, their relatives and all those who are particularly hard hit by the pandemic.
The initiator, Dorothea Schwarzbauer-Haupt expressed: “Everyone who has died of Covid will be missing at the coming Christmas party and will leave a painful gap.”
A prayer from Bishop Elbs with the request for health, for healing for the sick, for consolation for all those in mourning, for strength for all tired and exhausted, for confidence as well as for solidarity and understanding for one another concluded the short celebration on the church square.
