CB said that there are no actors today who can do the roles that actor Mohanlal did at the age of 29.
This was said in an interview with Times Now. This was said in response to a question why Mammootty and Mohanlal are still busy in films. CB added that both of them are very talented people and there will be no actors like them who can stay in films for a long time.
‘There will no longer be actors like Mammootty and Mohanlal who are likely to stay in films for a long time. Because there are no more talented people like them. For example, today’s actors cannot do films like Kirtham, Dasharath and Bharatham, which Mohanlal did in his 29-30 years. After that age they get such roles.
My films were taken as examples because I saw his performances firsthand. There are no young actors today who can match his performance in those films at the same age. Sometimes Fahad can do all that. We will understand it when we see his performance.
Another thing may be that the stories that they can do the same do not reach them. When we get that, we will understand when we see the effort they put in for that film. Characters with that much content and that much depth would be capable of doing it if they were approached. But at this age he has done all this, said CB.
