Frogwares has announced a new part of the successful Sherlock Holmes series. Sherlock Holmes Chapter One will hopefully send you on exciting adventures as a young Sherlock.
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is a detective thriller similar to the other games in the series. This time, however, with the small difference that it is a prequel and that you are on the road as a young Sherlock at the tender age of 21. It takes you to the Mediterranean Sea, where an island is obviously waiting for you as an open game world.
On the island, of course, not everything is right and you are faced with corruption and crime as an outsider. This time there is no John Watson at your side, but an ominous friend named Jon. Otherwise, you search the island and its city for clues, rumors and information that you put together in your mind palace to a safe case.
Combat is likely to play a minor role, but you are able to use weapons and find weaknesses of your opponents. You can also use the environment to keep opponents at bay.
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is scheduled for release next year for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the next-gen consoles. The first foretaste is a trailer.
